Every block is carved layer by layer, color by color, until the block is reduced and most of the image is carved away. What remains on the block is the last layer/color that was printed.
Each block is an embodiment of the creative process with it's textural carved surface, and ink stained remnants.
This block is almost all carved away. The wavy lines of the oak tree flutter through the sky, as the bird in the center remains nestled in the flower outlines.

Perfect for displaying on plate stands via tables, and bookshelves. You can also attach a saw tooth hanger to display on the wall.
Sealed with semi-gloss clear UV coating. Stamped and signed on the back.
